What's I.S.A.
I.S.A (International Student Association) is the historical organization managed only by students, originated in 1934.
We are the organization based on the ideology; the contribution of achievement against the world peace through international exchange. Students in different regions are promoting international mutual understanding, regardless of their school limitations through experiencing the investigation of the problem happening all over the world, international student exchange program and participating in international student conference.
To achieve our ideology we are preparing plenty of programs, mainly focused on the international exchange and international understanding. I.S.A is consisted of various university students in the whole of Japan. We are belonging to each chapter, divided according to its region. We have 6 chapters in entirety: Tokyo, Osaka, Kobe, Kyoto, Okayama, and Kyushu. And more each chapter is consisted of some universities. We call them “branch”. Usually, members are attending to the activities held by each chapter and branch. At the point on March in 2012, the number of the members surpasses 500, and we can say that we are assertive student organization, that many activities are held regardless of chapters and school years.
